Islip (Dave) Moorings

This mooring is Friends of the River Nene's first mooring sites and is called Islip Dave as its named after the owner who kindly allows us to use this piece of land.
Ther is no road or foot access. This mooring is landlocked, however is really is a pretty mooring, with a large walnut tree and bench that sits underneath.
Coming downstream as you approach Thrapsotn you will pass under the Nine Arches Bridge. Once you have navigated this bridge the mooring is on the left hand bank approx 400m beyond the bridge.
You will see Islip Lock and its moorings pontoon a further 300m downstream.
Once you have passed under the old reail bridge you will pass a small marina and afterwards approx 300m the Friends of the River Nene mooring is on your left.
As per our signs there is no Camping, Ground Fires, Loud Music or Fishing.
All Members using this mooring do so at their own risk.
Only Moor Between The Signs.
Remember to use your mooring pins on all of the Friends of the River Nene mooring sites and when you leave, kindly leave the site tidy and take your rubbish home.
